Frequently asked questions
How do I enroll?
Once you have sent in your Enrolment form you will then be advised by a Leader when and where you need to go for your first meeting.
Do I need to complete the form?
Yes. Make sure you complete the whole form to avoid delays. We need it.
What do I wear on the first day?
On you first day you can wear your uniform if you have one, or the activity dress as told by the Leader. If you don't have a uniform yet then don't worry as you can wear something of scouting colours for the first few weeks.
What do I bring?
Ask your Patrol Leader.
Also, request access to our Facebook Group page (see the side menu). The scouts themselves requested this as an easier way of communication - use it, or lose it.
What if I don't read emails?
You do. It is expected that Scouts are responsible enough to answer and act on their own emails. We will ask parents not to reply on your behalf.
Where is the consent form?
Ask you Patrol Leader for this form.
Who do I make cheques payable to?
‘Scout Association of Hong Kong – 1694th Silver Jubilee Group.’
How do I know what badges I am working on?
See the links in the menu.
