Every year Scout will pay an important role to the Annual School Fair. With the leadership of Peter Halliday and groups of leaders, we will build an Aerial Runway and Monkey Bridge for people to play during the date. Scouts take shift from Nov 29 - Dec 2, 2017 daily to split up on different task. For scouts who help on first day, they have to transfer all bamboos from the storage place at Ground Floor all the way up to PAC Rooftop playground. Following days will be the actual pioneering jobs as well as School Fair date responsible for the game in a good order. The main purpose of the involvement is to bring the awareness for our scouts to contribute and take responsibility while having fun to achieve something as a group. Team work is the key to make it succeed!!! Nov 29, 2017 - 1st Day of Work / Transfer Bamboo from ground floor to PAC Rooftop playground

Before meeting start, a group of scouts who nominate themselves to help and support on the coming up X'mas / Hiking Camp have meeting at school. Thank you leader John and Ray to sharing their excellent experience with the group. We are very honour to have Mr. Peter Halliday to invest our new join scouts this year. Also, numbers of scouts earn their First Aid, Camper, Cyclist and Geologist badges from the past activities that they had participated. Last but not the least, we are very glad to receive the Excellent Scout Troop badge this year. In the second part of the meeting, junior scouts support School Fair on the items sorting while senior scouts lead by Leader Ray to discuss on the tips for camping. A Great Fun Boat trip We are so lucky to have a fantastic weather of Boat trip on Nov 18, 2017. In the morning, we visit few of the famous Geotour spot, such as, Jin Island, Bluff Island, Basalt Island, Wang Chau, Po Pin Chau and Fa Shan. In the afternoon, we have our Seafood lunch at High Island. The group also spend approximate an hour at Yim Tin Tsai Village to walk around the nice village and try on some local traditional dessert. There is a quiz after the boat trip finish and each of the group can receive a bag of candy as reward. Last but not the least we also spend sometime at Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark Volcano Discovery Center before we return to school. It is a fantastic weather for hiking this Sat. Scouts are so amazing to back on time at 6:45am @ school for the hiking. Wong Leng is not an easy hiking track but the group can complete within the planned time without any injury. We have reach Altitude 450M+ within ~1.5 hours which is far higher than we originally plan. Thank you all leaders, who support today, especially John, Ray, Kevin and Eric all your preparation work before the hiking. Of course we have to thanks our guest leader ~ Aaron Yeung who take the lead to teach on the map reading for the scouts. Due to weather issue, we have to separate our 2 days kayaking training into two days. We finally finish the second day training on Nov 5, 2017 successfully. Most of the scouts can now achieve up to Canoe Three Stars / Canoe Proficiency Bronze Award and up. Keep it up guys. Very honor our scout team can join the annual big even of school ~ Terry Fox Run.
